Regulatory Affairs Consultant. Toxicology
Ana Cervantes holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Salamanca (2021) and a master’s in Research, Development, and Innovation of Medicines from the University of Navarra (2024), where she specializes in the preclinical development of medicines.
She started her professional career in the industry in the toxicology area at ISDIN (Barcelona). Here, she gained experience in the safety assessment of cosmetic ingredients and products, focusing on the toxicological profile of vitamin A derivatives and their use in cosmetics. During this period, in a multidisciplinary environment, she also analyzed aspects related to safety in other related areas (Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs…). Other areas of interest in this field include cosmetic regulation in different geographical regions, ecotoxicology, and sustainability.
