Sigillum offers its experience and regulatory knowledge on protective equipment and hydroalcoholic solutions to face the Covid-19 crisis

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Covid-19 epidemic is causing many companies to rethink their business models, adapting their production to the new needs of the market. The high demand for personal protective equipment or antiseptic solutions, among other items, also requires new developments and support in the regulatory, with the aim of ensuring that the products that finally reach consumers meet the minimum requirements, even in moments of emergency like the one we are experiencing.

Thus, the standardization bodies -as is the case of UNE, in Spain- are working on the development of new standards that ensure the safety of this type of products. Specifically, during this month of April two UNE standards have been developed to facilitate the manufacture of non-reusable hygienic masks in the production of which four ministries of the Spanish government have participated. These standards are UNE 0064-1, which includes the requirements related to the materials, design, preparation and use with which this type of mask intended for adult users must comply and UNE 0064-2, which applies to this type of masks for use in children. Additionally, another new UNE standard is being prepared that will include the requirements for reusable hygienic masks.

At Sigillum Knowledge Solutions we have the experience and expert knowledge of the regulatory framework that allows us, in the current emergency situation, to help those companies that need support in the interpretation of legislation and UNE standards related to manufacturing and commercialization. In particular, in the field of personal protective equipment such as protective gowns or masks, as well as disinfectant hydroalcoholic solutions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
